New hope for ulcerative colitis patients in global drug trial

Summary

This study is testing a new drug called SAR441566 to see if it can help control moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis and put the disease into remission. About 204 adults who haven't gotten enough relief from standard or advanced treatments will receive either the drug or a placebo for up to a year. The main goal is to see how well different doses work to reduce symptoms and improve gut health after 12 weeks.
