NCT ID NCT03100864

Summary

This small study tested a new drug called BI 655130 in people with active ulcerative colitis. Researchers gave the drug for 12 weeks to 8 patients to understand how it works in the body and to check if it was safe and helped control symptoms. The main goal was to see how the drug changed gene activity in the gut lining, while also looking at changes in symptoms and inflammation markers.
