New Drug's Real-World impact on debilitating bowel disease tracked

Summary
This study is observing how well the drug filgotinib works and how safe it is for adults with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis in everyday medical practice. It will follow 509 patients for up to two years to see how long they stay on the treatment and if it improves their symptoms and quality of life. The goal is to gather real-world evidence on the drug's benefits and risks outside of a controlled clinical trial.
