Summary
This study aimed to understand how the war in Ukraine and the experience of fleeing their country affected the mental health of refugees who resettled in Spain. Researchers surveyed and interviewed 123 Ukrainian adults living in one Spanish province to measure symptoms of depression and anxiety. The goal was to gather evidence to help improve support services and policies for refugees.
