Summary
This study tested whether ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) can improve liver health in people with chronic hepatitis C. About 600 adults in Japan took different doses of UDCA for 24 weeks. Researchers measured changes in liver enzymes to see if higher doses work better than a low dose.
