NCT ID NCT06916247
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a new AI model that predicts which patients with chronic diseases will have the highest medical costs. The top 500 patients each month are randomly split into two groups: 250 are offered a personalized care management program, and 250 are placed on a waitlist. Researchers will compare how many days patients spend alive and out of the hospital to see if the program helps. About 5,000 adults enrolled in a UCLA Medicare Advantage plan will take part.
