Scientists build a 'Library' of pregnancy samples to unlock health mysteries

NCT ID NCT05035160

Summary

This study is creating a large collection of biological samples and health information from up to 1,000 pregnant and postpartum people. The goal is to build a secure research resource, or 'biobank,' to help scientists better understand pregnancy complications and outcomes in the future. Participants donate samples like blood and urine, and allow access to their medical records, but the study itself does not provide treatment.
