Can report cards and stories nudge doctors to better heart care?

NCT ID NCT06277323

First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested two simple tools—a monthly report card and a storyboard—to help cardiologists remember and act on preventive care steps for their patients. 46 UCLA heart doctors took part. The goal was to see if these nudges could close gaps in treatments like statins, aspirin, and blood pressure control.
