New diabetes drug aims to improve blood sugar control for patients on two medications

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called HM11260C in adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar is still too high despite taking metformin and dapagliflozin. About 118 people will receive either the new drug or a placebo for 36 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug lowers HbA1c, a key measure of blood sugar control.
