Summary
This study tests VX-880, a stem cell treatment for people with type 1 diabetes who have dangerous low blood sugar episodes. The goal is to see if the treatment can help the body make its own insulin again, so patients no longer need insulin shots. The study involves 52 adults who have had diabetes for over 5 years and have had severe low blood sugar events.
