Summary
This study looks at how the typhoid vaccine changes immune cells and bacteria in the gut. About 87 adults scheduled for routine colonoscopies will either get the vaccine before or after the procedure, or not at all. Researchers will collect tissue, blood, saliva, and stool samples to measure immune responses. The goal is to learn more about how vaccines work in the body, not to treat any disease.
