First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study reviews medical records of 648 women who had a cesarean delivery and experienced postpartum hemorrhage (severe bleeding after birth). Researchers want to see how the use of tranexamic acid (TXA), a drug that helps stop bleeding, has changed over the years and how it affects outcomes like blood loss and need for transfusion. The goal is to understand real-world use of TXA and improve care for mothers.
