NCT ID NCT06450392

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called tranexamic acid (TXA) can reduce bruising and swelling after surgery around the eye socket. 150 patients having this type of surgery will be randomly assigned to receive the drug either by IV, as a local injection, or a standard saline solution. Doctors will compare photos taken after surgery to see which group has less bruising and swelling.
