Can two therapies beat one? new study asks cancer survivors to double up
NCT ID NCT06989463
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This pilot study looks at whether adult survivors of childhood cancer are willing to do two behavioral therapies together—exercise plus either brain training or mindfulness—for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this combined approach is acceptable and can help with thinking problems or emotional distress caused by past cancer treatments. About 20 participants from the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort will take part, and researchers will track how many join, stick with it, and finish the program.
