Better charts for twins: study tests new way to track baby growth

NCT ID NCT07164001

Summary

This study aims to find out if using growth charts specifically designed for twins leads to better care than using standard pregnancy charts. Researchers will randomly assign 150 pregnant people carrying twins to have their care guided by either traditional charts or twin-specific charts. They'll compare outcomes like birth weight, timing of delivery, and newborn health to see if the specialized charts reduce unnecessary interventions and improve results.
