Doctors test if TV drama can fight deadly brain worm ignorance
NCT ID NCT07208656
Summary
This study aims to see if watching a medical TV drama can improve young adults' knowledge about neurocysticercosis, a parasitic brain infection linked to epilepsy. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to either watch a specific episode of 'House M.D.' or not watch anything, and then complete quizzes about the disease. The main goal is to measure any change in knowledge scores after watching the show.
