Summary
This study tests a special air mattress that automatically turns ICU patients to prevent painful bedsores. It compares the new mattress to standard foam mattresses with manual turning by nurses. The goal is to see if the automatic mattress reduces nursing workload and costs while preventing pressure injuries. About 236 adult ICU patients will take part.
