Summary
This study tested whether a special turmeric supplement (MERIVA®) could improve memory and thinking in 85 older adults with metabolic syndrome. Participants took the supplement or a placebo for 6 months. Researchers measured changes in cognitive tests to see if turmeric helped reduce the risk of age-related mental decline.
