Can a spice in a pill ease your aching knees?
NCT ID NCT07183215
Summary
This study is testing whether capsules containing a concentrated turmeric extract can reduce pain and inflammation in adults with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will compare the turmeric capsules to a placebo (a dummy pill with no active ingredient) over three weeks. The main goal is to see if the turmeric lowers specific markers of inflammation in the blood and helps with knee pain.
