NCT ID NCT07383389
First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study checks if a Turkish version of the Respiratory Distress Observation Scale (RDOS) works well for ICU patients who cannot describe their breathing trouble. Researchers will compare the scale's scores with carbon dioxide levels measured by a breathing monitor. 64 adults with conditions like COPD, heart failure, or pneumonia will take part. The goal is to help doctors better detect and manage breathing distress in patients who cannot speak.
