Glowing cancer cells: new dye helps surgeons see what they might miss

NCT ID NCT04723810

Summary

This study is testing a special fluorescent dye called indocyanine green (TumorGlow™) that is given before surgery. The dye makes cancer cells glow under a special camera, helping surgeons see and remove more of the tumor. The research aims to find the safest and most effective dose and timing for the dye, and to see if it helps surgeons find cancer that might otherwise be missed.
