First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares two devices placed in the mouth to help patients breathe after anesthesia: the standard Guedel airway and the newer Tulip airway. It includes 30 adults aged 18-75 who are at higher risk for difficult mask ventilation due to factors like obesity, beard, or missing teeth. The goal is to see which device provides safer and more effective breathing support.
