No tube after surgery? study tests safer recovery for lung patients
NCT ID NCT07395349
Summary
This study aims to find the safest way to manage air in the chest after a common type of lung surgery. Researchers will compare three different techniques in 300 patients having surgery to remove small lung nodules. The goal is to see if newer 'tubeless' methods can speed up recovery and reduce pain without increasing the risk of needing another procedure.
