Oil flush boosts baby hopes in infertile women

NCT ID NCT04379973

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving an extra flush of oil-based contrast during a standard fertility test can help infertile women get pregnant naturally. About 736 women aged 18-40 with at least one open fallopian tube will be randomly assigned to receive either the extra flush or no extra treatment. The main goal is to see if more women in the flush group have a live birth within six months.
