Fertility flush: simple dye procedure may boost baby chances
NCT ID NCT04379973
First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether flushing the fallopian tubes with an oil-based dye, right after a standard foam ultrasound test, can help infertile women conceive naturally. About 736 women aged 18-39 with at least one open tube will be randomly assigned to get the extra flush or not. The main goal is to see if more women in the flush group have a live birth within six months.
