Scarless surgery showdown: two new hysterectomy methods face off
NCT ID NCT06663553
Summary
This study compares two newer, less invasive surgical methods for removing the uterus (hysterectomy) in women with an enlarged uterus due to conditions like fibroids or adenomyosis. Researchers will randomly assign 210 participants to either a single-incision belly-button surgery (TU-LESS) or a vaginal surgery (vNOTES) to see which leads to faster recovery, less pain, and better cosmetic results. The goal is to determine which technique provides better overall outcomes for patients.
