Zapping tumors with electricity: new trial aims to turn immune system against lung cancer

Summary
This study is testing if a wearable device that delivers low-intensity electrical fields (TTFields) to the chest is safe and practical to use before surgery for early-stage lung cancer. Researchers want to see if this treatment can help activate the body's own immune system to attack the cancer. The trial will enroll 25 patients with early-stage, operable lung adenocarcinoma to assess safety and gather initial evidence of immune system effects.
