Core strength may be key to calming knee arthritis pain

Summary

This study looks at whether adding trunk (core) stabilization exercises to usual physical therapy can reduce knee pain and improve daily function in people with knee osteoarthritis who also have back pain. About 70 adults aged 40-60 with mild to moderate knee arthritis and a history of back pain will take part. Researchers will measure pain, stiffness, and mobility before and after treatment.
