New hope for ovarian cancer: targeted drug takes on resistant tumors
NCT ID NCT07340164
First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests a new drug, trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd), in people with recurrent ovarian cancer whose tumors have stopped responding to PARP inhibitors. T-DXd targets a protein called HER2 found on some cancer cells. The trial compares T-DXd to standard chemotherapy to see which works better. About 116 adults with HER2-positive ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer will take part.
