New device aims to fix failing heart valves without major surgery

NCT ID NCT04905017

Summary

This early study is testing the safety and performance of a new device called the Trisol System. It is designed to treat patients with a moderate or severe leak in their tricuspid heart valve, a condition that can cause shortness of breath and fatigue. The device is implanted through a vein in the neck, avoiding open-heart surgery, and is intended for patients who are at high risk for traditional surgery.
