Summary
This study tested two different 14-day treatments for H. pylori, a bacteria that causes stomach inflammation and ulcers. 752 adults in Pakistan were randomly assigned to either a triple therapy or a bismuth-based quadruple therapy. The goal was to see which treatment cleared the infection more effectively, measured by a stool test six weeks later.
