Three-Drug combo aims to shrink dangerous heart plaque before it causes a crisis

NCT ID NCT07474649

Summary

This study aims to see if a combination of three cholesterol-lowering drugs can shrink and stabilize fatty plaque buildup in the heart's arteries. It will enroll about 103 adults who have this plaque but have not yet had a heart attack or stroke. Researchers will use special heart scans to measure if the triple therapy reduces plaque volume and changes its composition over one year.
