First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tested whether using three pacing leads instead of the usual two could help more people with heart failure. About 30% of patients don't improve with standard cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). The trial aimed to see if triple-site pacing could shrink the heart's main pumping chamber and improve symptoms. It included 36 adults with severe heart failure who were getting a new CRT device.
