First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study is testing a special three-layer scaffold to help repair damaged knee cartilage in people with osteochondritis dissecans, a condition where cartilage and bone separate. Researchers will enroll 30 patients aged 15 to 40 who have not improved with non-surgical treatments. The goal is to see if the scaffold improves knee symptoms, function, and sports ability over time.
