Summary

This study tested whether triheptanoin oil can reduce the number of sudden paralysis episodes in children with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood, a rare genetic disorder. Ten participants took the oil or a placebo in a crossover design. The main goal was to see if the oil could lessen the frequency of these attacks.
