Summary
This study tested a special oil called triheptanoin in 20 people with GLUT1 deficiency, a rare condition where the brain can't use sugar for energy. The goal was to see if the oil could reduce episodes of abnormal movements and seizures. Participants took the oil by mouth, and doctors monitored safety by checking certain blood levels.
