NCT ID NCT06986317
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026
Summary
This study tested two manual therapy techniques—positional release (gentle holding) and Graston (scraping with tools)—on 34 adults with painful trigger points in the upper back. Participants received one of the treatments, and researchers measured pain, neck disability, and range of motion over three weeks. The goal was to see which approach works better for easing muscle knot pain.
