New ultrasound technique aims for faster trigger finger recovery

NCT ID NCT07364695

Summary

This study compared two surgical approaches for treating trigger finger, a condition where a finger gets stuck in a bent position. Researchers followed 60 adults who had either traditional open surgery or a newer ultrasound-guided procedure to see which method led to better daily function and less pain after surgery. The goal was to determine if the minimally invasive ultrasound technique helps patients recover faster and return to normal activities sooner.
