Brain waves could guide surgery for 'Suicide Disease' pain

NCT ID NCT05738096

Summary

This study is testing whether doctors can reliably measure brain wave responses during a specific surgery for trigeminal neuralgia, a severe facial pain condition. Researchers will perform these measurements on 30 adults undergoing the surgery and compare them to healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if this technique is practical and could one day help surgeons perform the procedure more precisely.
