First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve in the face (trigeminal nerve) to see if it can reduce ADHD symptoms in children aged 7 to 12. Over 200 children received either the active device or a sham (fake) device for 4 weeks. The goal was to measure changes in ADHD symptoms using standard rating scales and brain activity patterns.
