New topical treatment tested for stubborn toenail fungus

Summary
This study is testing a topical solution called VTR-297 (containing Trichostatin A) to see if it's safe and effective for treating toenail fungus. It will involve 50 adults with mild to severe fungal nail infections. Researchers will apply the solution to the affected toenails and check for side effects and signs of fungal clearance after 4 weeks of treatment.
