Gut-Brain pill aims to boost memory and mobility in Parkinson's patients

NCT ID NCT07154511

Summary

This study is testing if a dietary supplement called tributyrin can help improve memory, thinking, walking, and balance in adults with Parkinson's disease who also have mild memory problems or dementia. Researchers will compare the supplement to a placebo pill over about 90 days to see if it works and is safe. Participants will take the supplement three times a day and complete memory tests, movement exams, and brain scans before and after the treatment period.
