Summary
This study aims to understand if a supplement called tributyrin can help lower blood sugar and reduce appetite in people who are overweight or obese. Researchers will give 12 participants either the supplement or a placebo for short periods and measure their blood sugar, hunger levels, and other body functions. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how this supplement works in the human body.
