Summary
This study tests if a 'big push' of community improvements and financial support can improve health in Black neighborhoods. Researchers are working with 720 adults in Philadelphia to clean up neighborhoods, plant trees, and provide financial counseling and cash assistance. The goal is to see if this combined approach can significantly improve overall health and wellbeing by tackling the root causes of health disparities.
