New drug trial offers hope for shrinking painful, untreatable tumors

Summary
This study is testing whether an oral capsule called TQ-B3234 can shrink painful, inoperable tumors in adults with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). It will compare the drug to a placebo (a dummy pill) in 177 participants over 24 weeks to see if it reduces tumor size and improves pain and quality of life. The main goal is to see if significantly more people taking the drug have their tumors shrink compared to those taking the placebo.
