New drug combo tested for Tough-to-Treat gynecologic cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two oral drugs, avutometinib and defactinib, can help control advanced or recurrent mesonephric gynecologic cancer. It will enroll about 40 adult women whose cancer has persisted or returned after prior treatment. The main goal is to see if the treatment shrinks tumors and is safe for patients.
