Patch promises relief from implant-related bleeding woes

Summary

This study tests whether a hormonal skin patch can stop irregular vaginal bleeding in women using contraceptive implants. About 40 women over 18 who have abnormal bleeding will wear the patch or a placebo for 21 days. Researchers will check if bleeding stops by day 14 and monitor side effects.
