Could a simple antibiotic course help children grow taller?

NCT ID NCT07451171

Summary

This study aims to find the most effective antibiotic treatment for a condition where too much bacteria grows in the small intestine (SIBO) in children from Bangladesh. Researchers believe treating SIBO could help prevent stunted growth and malnutrition. The trial will test different antibiotic regimens in 60 children to see which one best clears the bacteria.
