New lifestyle approach aims to tame blood sugar spikes in early diabetes

Summary
This study tests whether a personalized lifestyle program using continuous glucose monitors can help people newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar. 200 adults will be randomly assigned to either routine care or routine care plus the program. The goal is to see if the program reduces blood sugar levels and the need for diabetes medication.
