Study tests pill vs IUD to stop Post-C-Section bleeding
NCT ID NCT07229209
Summary
This study compared two common hormonal treatments to see which works better for women experiencing abnormal bleeding from a scar left by a cesarean section. 166 women were randomly assigned to receive either birth control pills or a hormonal IUD for six months. Researchers tracked changes in bleeding days, pain, and the scar itself to determine which treatment provided better relief.
